Delete your VP Solution account

This page is for customers of the VP Solution shopping app and vpsolution.com.ng, operated by VP Solution Ltd (RC 9571116).

You can delete your account and the personal data attached to it at any time. You do not need to give a reason and it costs nothing.

The quickest way: in the app

1. Open the VP Solution app
2. Go to Account, then Profile
3. Tap “Delete account” at the bottom
4. Enter your password to confirm

Your account is closed straight away.

If you no longer have the app

Email Info@vpsolution.com.ng from the email address on the account, with “Delete my account” as the subject.

Or message us on WhatsApp at 0811 111 1328 and ask us to delete your account.

Tell us the email address or phone number on the account. We may ask you to confirm who you are before we delete anything, which is there to stop somebody else closing your account.

We will complete your request within 30 days, and usually much sooner.

What gets deleted

• Your account and sign-in details
• Your name, email address and phone number
• Every delivery address you have saved
• Your saved items
• Any product requests you sent us
• Your marketing and notification preferences

What we have to keep, and why

We cannot delete the record of an order you actually placed. Nigerian tax and accounting law requires a business to keep its sales records, and an order is one.

What we do instead is detach those records from you. They survive as a financial record of a transaction, not as a profile of a person. The order record keeps the delivery address it was sent to, because that is part of what the invoice is.

• Order and payment records kept for 6 years, which is what Nigerian tax and accounting records require. This matches section 7 of the Privacy Policy.
• Everything else above deleted

We may also keep the minimum needed to prevent fraud or to establish or defend a legal claim. If we ever have to refuse part of a request, we will tell you which part and which law requires it.

Anything saved only on your phone

Items and addresses you saved while signed out never reached us. They live on the phone itself.

Remove them from Account -> Clear this phone, or just uninstall the app, which removes everything the app stored.

Before you delete

Deleting is permanent. We cannot restore an account afterwards, and you would need to create a new one to shop again.

If you only want to stop the emails, you do not need to delete anything. Unsubscribe from any marketing email, or turn notifications off in Account -> Notifications.
